Wyn Owen - Chairman

Wyn is an Organisational Development Consultant supporting individuals and organisations through change; utilising combinations of coaching, facilitation, training and consultancy. He holds two Masters Degrees, is qualified and experienced in quantitative and qualitative research methods and psychometrics and is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist. He also manages the family business based in mid Wales involving a performance recorded sheep flock, grazing lets, environmental schemes and property. Wyn has extensive experience as a Chairman including being a past Chair of two governing bodies, Powys Governors Association and Nuffield Wales and also served as a Board Member on Governors Wales. He has been a judge for Apprenticeships Awards Wales for many years and currently sits on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust Expert Advisory Panel.
Rupert Alers-Hankey - Director

Rupert Alers-Hankey a retired senior Army Officer who served at NATO HQ and numerous other International appointments. He was appointed Director of the Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust (UK) in December 2023. The Selection Panel were very impressed by his abilities and professionalism, and especially his excellent communication skills. Rupert will now join the Nuffield Farming Office Team and work with them during 2023. He will be 'out and about' during the coming months. He prides himself on being a leader and innovator, with experience in stakeholder management, strategic planning and risk management. Previous roles have included CEO at Llama Life, Strategic Development and Planning Director at NATO and Training Director at the UK Ministry of Defence.
